"I was very happy and surprised Sarina Russo Job Access helped me get a job in a week's time. Their customer service was excellent as they were quick, efficient, and I felt comfortable I could ask them anything. Everybody was very friendly and positive, and they always had a smile on their face."

When referred by Kentish Town JCP, Shuhana was sceptical about the Community Taskforce programme and didn't expect Sarina Russo Job Access to teach her anything she didn't already know about trying to find work.

Shuhana had no career goals, so her personal adviser at Sarina Russo Job Access Islington, Mustafa, put her forward to undertake a Goal Setting module. At this point she decided she wanted to find a job before progressing with her education.

Shuhana was then put forward for an interview with WH Smith at Paddington Station. In preparation for the interview, Mustafa gave her one-on-one coaching sessions.

Shuhana said, "I thought I did well, but thought in my head 'I won't get the job'. But next day I got a call saying I was successful and I was really happy about it."

Shuhana's story shows even young and inexperienced jobseekers are wrong to think they have no chance of getting that job - staying positive is half the battle.

Mustafa said Shuhana was a pleasure to work with. She took instruction well and made sure she benefitted from everyone in the Sarina Russo Job Access team.
